Customer Background


“Chromex Analyticals Pvt Ltd” (Formerly known as Harikrushna Analyticals) has been engaged in analytical services since 2016. 

They are providing AMCs, re-installations, Calibrations, Qualifications and Analytical consultancy services to a wide range of customers including Pharmaceuticals, Organics & Specialty Chemicals.

They are Team of 10+ years of versatile experience and well accepted Analytical Instruments experts.

They were using Tally for accounting and another cloud based proprietary application to manage their business.

Chromex had been using that application for a year or so. As their business grew, they started realizing the limitations of the web application. The vendor was reluctant to modify the application according to their processes as it was a SaaS application.

Lately, Chromex started exploring the alternatives. Meanwhile, the director of Chromex got in touch with Entrivis Team via a common contact.

We schedule a demo session with the Chromex team, making them aware of the Odoo features. As a result of the meeting, we came to an agreement and confirmed that Entrivis would implement Odoo to automate the business operations of Chromex Analyticals.

Odoo ERP Implementation

Entrivis has implemented Odoo 14 to automate the business processes of Chromex Analyticals, the implementation was rolled out in 2 phases. 

Our Odoo Consultant had regular meetings with the Chromex team to understand the processes they follow. Chromex has a small but well experienced team who are very clear with their requirements. They have explained every aspect of the cases they come across.

Based on the requirements and business analysis stage, Entrivis team has created a BRD that covers the requirements and flow design for both phases. After the sign-off, Entrivis team has started working on the Odoo customization.

Entrivis has developed a simple version of Field Service Management (FSM) from scratch to meet the requirements. In the FSM, the system is managing the Customers name, Address, Technicians name, Machine details, Service details and more.

When the technician completes the job, the system generates a clean PDF report with customers name and signature as a proof of service. It helps the Chromex team to identify the false claims by the customers and the users by making them accountable. Having a mobile friendly version of Odoo makes the process and data management real-time.

The digitized process also made the customer visit scheduling easy and efficient. The Chromex team can now plan their visits well in advance, it is highly cost effective for them.

Entrivis team has also automated the AMC reminders for Chromex Analyticals. AMCs being the major source of revenue, not getting timely reminders was a major missed opportunity for Chromex. With automated reminders of the expiring AMCs, Odoo helps Chromex to generate more revenue by fixing the gaps and leakages.
