From a fragile Enterprise system to AI-first functional medicine on Community.

VitaOne is not a single clinic back office. It is a functional medicine network: practitioners who sell and recommend products, manage patients, run lab-driven care, teach courses, and earn on referrals. Patients and practitioners both need a storefront, a portal, and clinical tooling that stock Odoo does not ship for this domain.

When they came to us, the system was on Odoo Enterprise and already fragile. A previous partner had left them with something that could not carry the next stage of the business. The first job was not “add features.” It was to assess what was salvageable, stabilize what was not, and decide whether Enterprise was still the right foundation.

There was a second problem, on the product side: commerce, practitioner onboarding, commission wallets, appointments, treatment plans, and lab reporting all had to live on one stack practitioners would actually trust.

A lab PDF is not a Functional Lab Report. Units differ by lab, biomarkers arrive incomplete or mislabelled, and a raw extract is not something a practitioner puts in front of a patient.

We integrated AI into a closed loop on Odoo: upload the patient report, extract and map biomarkers, then generate the FLR the practitioner and patient actually work from. Download and re-run stay available when the source data changes. That is the difference between an AI demo and a system that produces the clinical product.

1,913 active practitioners and 25,000 patients work through the same system; 14,119 Functional Lab Reports have been produced; 50,063 orders have run through the storefront. On the learning side, 10,000+ attendees have gone through 25 courses with certification on completion.

None of those figures are a go-live spike. They are what staying on the system while the network grew looks like from the outside.
