LCPC PRACTICE · MARYLAND, US

BlackLight Therapy

Logo, website, and a domain taken live.

BlackLight Therapy is a Maryland LCPC practice run by Mrs. Rhonda Moore. In mid-February 2026 they came to us without a public brand. We designed the logo and identity, built the patient-facing website, and took blacklighttherapy.org live in March. She recorded a video testimonial after go-live. There is no Odoo system underneath this work.
01 · The Brief

The practice existed. The public presence did not.

Mrs. Rhonda Moore is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland. The practice needed a name people could find, a site that reads as a clinical practice rather than a purchased theme, and a domain that actually resolves.

There was no operating system underneath this work and we did not put one there. This is a Website & Brand engagement: identity and the patient-facing site as one piece of work, then the DNS and domain setup that makes the URL real.

Content had to come from the practitioner. We structured the pages. We did not invent a clinical voice for her.

02 · Architecture

Three layers, one engagement.

Layer 01

Identity

Logo and wordmark, colour and type, and the guidelines the site is assembled from. Brand and website were not split across a designer and a developer.

Layer 02

Website

A patient-facing site: home, about, services, and contact, with the messaging and art direction that govern the pages. Individual therapy, clinical supervision, and telehealth alongside in-person sessions sit on those pages because that is the practice, not because we added a services module.

Layer 03

Domain and go-live

blacklighttherapy.org had to point at the site we built. DNS and domain setup are part of the engagement, not a handoff to “whoever handles hosting.” The site is live at that URL.

03 · Where it earns trust

A therapy practice is not a template.

The hard part was not picking a palette. It was taking a private practice public without dressing it in wellness-SaaS clothing, and without leaving the last mile of go-live as someone else’s job.

The identity had to hold as a clinic. A therapy practice that looks like a product launch has already failed the patient who landed there. Colour, type, and the mark had to read as a clinician’s practice.

The words had to be hers. Page structure is our job. Clinical positioning is not something we write over the top of a practitioner. The site carries her practice. It does not carry our house voice.

Go-live is the work. A finished design on a staging URL is not a website. Pointing the domain, checking DNS, and putting blacklighttherapy.org on the public internet is the last layer, and it is the layer agencies treat as optional. We ran it.

04 · Outcomes

What shipped is on the web.

The practice has a public identity and a live site at the domain people type. That is checkable. Open blacklighttherapy.org.

BeforeAfter
No public brand Logo, wordmark, colour and type
No patient-facing site Live site at blacklighttherapy.org
Domain not serving the new site DNS pointed; the URL is the site
No public proof of the engagement Video testimonial from the owner

No rates, no session fees, no traffic numbers. What changed is that the practice is findable.

05 · Continuity

This was a finite build.

Started mid-February 2026. Live in March 2026. The practice runs the site. We do not claim a standing operations contract, and we do not dress a Website & Brand engagement as Managed Continuity.

What did not get split is the thing that usually splits: the mark went out from the same team that built the pages and pointed the domain. That is the continuity claim this engagement can actually make.

This proves

We will take a private practice from no public identity to a live brand and website, including the DNS work that makes the domain resolve. This is the engagement behind the Product Engineering hub’s BlackLight card. We claim an Odoo connection only where it exists. It does not exist here.
