Practice management for law firms,
on one Odoo system
For firms that run on matters, hearings, and invoices
Built for mid-sized practices juggling court work, matter stages, lawyer assignment, and billing across more matters than a partner can hold in their head. It is not a litigation research tool and not a substitute for court e-filing portals.
It is the operational layer underneath those: who owns the matter, when the hearing is, what was decided, what to bill, and whether it went out.
What the Law Firm system actually covers
Court master
Configurable courts carrying court type, address, department, and the matters handled there.
Case and matter management
Dedicated case sequences and stages, full case detail, categories, client position as plaintiff or defendant, case documents, and case history. Configurable charges link through to invoices. Case expenses are recorded against the matter, and tasks are created automatically, with reminders to the assigned lawyer or lawyer group.
Lawyers
A lawyer register with contact details, grade, and department, so assignment and reporting run off one record.
Hearings
Hearing date and detail tagged to case number, lawyer, and court. Judgment and decision notes, hearing documents, and the tasks that come out of the hearing.
Other services
Non-litigation work such as contract drafting, translation, MOUs, and agreements, managed alongside court matters rather than in a second tool.
Clients and opponents
Addresses, contacts, and party details for clients and opponents, including opposing firm details.
Dashboard
An interactive view across services, hearings, legal tasks, and non-legal tasks.
Platform and billing
Multiple language support, cloud deployment, an optional customer portal, and collaboration on the shared Odoo record. Tax-compliant invoicing with auto-invoicing configurable by contract type, and a link to a full HRMS where the firm runs one.
The matter and the invoice on one record
The benefit of running the practice on one system is that a matter and its money are never in two places. A case charge becomes an invoice without re-entering it, hearings and tasks stay attached to the matter they came from, and the firm's financial reporting is reading the same records the lawyers are working in.
It is built for how a mid-sized firm actually runs the week, and it bends to your process rather than forcing you onto someone else's. Where you already run other Entrivis systems or want a client portal, those are settings on the same deployment, not another purchase.
Is this only for litigation firms?
No. Court matters are first-class, and non-litigation services such as drafting, translation, MOUs, and agreements are included, so mixed practices are not pushed into a second system.
Does it handle billing?
Yes. Case charges link to invoices, with tax-compliant invoicing and optional auto-invoicing by contract type.
Can clients see anything?
A customer portal is supported as a configuration option. What clients see is set per deployment.
What if we need heavy customization?
Same rule as the rest of the products: we configure first. If the firm's process turns out to sit far from this shape, we will recommend a custom build rather than force the product to pretend.
